Some Additional Notes on Hosting Dr. Martin

Housing. Dr. Martin will usually travel with his wife Lynda. They prefer private housing in a motel or guest house. On the road constantly, they feel much more comfortable enjoying the privacy and convenience of a motel room. This is a request, not a demand. If it is unavailable, we will appreciate whatever arrangements are made.

Offerings. RRMI requests that a free will offering be received in every service where Dr. Martin speaks. He does not put any pressure on a church or pastor for a certain amount, but asks that his personal, ministry and missions needs be adequately presented to the congregation and that the people be given an opportunity to respond with their gifts. Because we do not make any demands does not mean our needs are any less. All checks should be made payable to River of Revival Ministries, Inc.

Dr. Martin does not prefer to take his own offerings, however, at the pastor's request hw is happy to spend a few minutes before the pastor receives the offering, discussing the ministry and its outreaches.

Travel. Again, Dr. Martin makes no demands for reimbursment of travel expenses. It is usually expected that a hosting church or organization will pay for any air travel necessary. Reimbursement for travel expenses on the road is also greatly appreciated.

Entertainment. Dr. Martin always has book and other projects and study and prayer that consume his time on the road. Entertainment is not necessary. He enjoys meals with the pastor or host, but also appreciates some "alone" time with God. It has been our experience that the busier we are with stuff in the day, the harder it is to be fully prepared for the evening services.
